Widget FAQ

Are the satellite widgets really free?
Yes. All widgets are free for educational, personal and non-commercial use, with attribution built in. For commercial use, get in touch about licensing.
Do I need an API key or account?
No. Copy the iframe snippet, paste it into your page's HTML, and the widget loads live data from our servers automatically. No key, no signup, no configuration.
Will a widget slow my website down?
No. Each widget is an iframe with loading="lazy", so it only loads when scrolled into view — and it runs in an isolated frame that can't block your own page's rendering.
Can I change the size?
Yes. The iframe's width and height attributes are yours to set — use the S / M / L picker on each widget for ready-made snippets, or edit the values by hand. Widgets adapt responsively inside the frame.
Where does the data come from?
The same live pipeline that powers orbitalradar.com — orbital elements from Space-Track and CelesTrak, refreshed continuously and propagated in real time. See data sources.
Usage Terms — All widgets are free for educational, personal, and non-commercial use. Attribution is included automatically within each widget. For commercial use, please get in touch. Widgets load live data and update automatically. We recommend adding loading="lazy" to defer offscreen embeds. Questions? Contact us
