What Arizona uses

Checked November 2026

The Arizona Science Standards were approved by the Arizona State Board of Education in October 2018, with small edits dated December 2021. A code joins the grade, a core idea and a running number, so 5.E2U1.7 is a Grade 5 Earth and space standard. Space turns up in Kindergarten and Grades 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7, with the most in the high school Earth and space strand.
