What Idaho uses

Checked November 2026

The Idaho Content Standards for Science took effect on July 1, 2022, under Idaho Code 33-118B. Idaho keeps the national performance expectations and writes each code with a dash and a dot, so 5-ESS1-1 becomes 5-ESS-1.1, and high school physics uses HS-PSP-1.4. Space appears in Grades 1 and 5, middle school and high school Earth and space science.
