What Ohio uses

Checked November 2026

Ohio's Learning Standards for Science, adopted in 2018, with the model curriculum from 2019. Ohio writes its own content statements, coded by grade, strand and number, such as 5.ESS.2. High school space topics sit in Physical Science (PS.U, The Universe) and Physics.

Cleveland is home to NASA's Glenn Research Center.
