What Oklahoma uses

Checked November 2026

The Oklahoma Academic Standards for Science, the 2026 edition, taught from the 2026-27 school year. Oklahoma keeps the national pattern but writes the codes with dots and a grade or course prefix: 5.ESS1.1 is 5-ESS1-1, and high school Earth Science uses ES.ESS1.4.
